We are currently looking for a Warehouse/Counter Associate to be the newest member of Gescan and join the Abbotsford team.


Key Responsibilites:

  • Actively supports the Company’s quality process to achieve total satisfaction of external and internal customer’s requirements, striving for error free work.
  • May occasionally drive a truck and make deliveries or pick-up merchandise from suppliers.
  • Sets and maintains high standards of professionalism in all aspects of both business and personal endeavors.
  • Operates a lift truck or a fork truck in picking orders or in storing of merchandise.
  • Checks, counts and may account for items within containers; verifies accurate count of incoming and outgoing materials and merchandise.
  • Assists in the annual inventory; may write up receiving or shipping reports; may file documentation.
  • May pack orders, write labels, weigh cartons and prepare Loomis and other shipping forms.
  • Strives for continuous improvement by offering suggestions that could  improve the process, procedures or safety.
  • Completes required documents neatly and accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Advises supervisor of any discrepancy between computer and actual shelf count, or in bin locations when picking orders.
  • Reports damaged merchandise to supervisor.
  • Notifies supervisor for potential security problems.
  • Observes safety regulations and wears required safety attire at all times.



  • High School Diploma required. 
  • Up to 2 years related experience preferred. 
  • First Aid Certification preferred. 
  • WHMIS Certification preferred.
