Key Responsibilities
- Supervise AR accounting activities, including customer invoices, receipts, credit/debit notes, and related accounting documents.
- Oversee daily cash application and customer account clearing.
- Review and reconcile AR sub-ledger, bank transactions, and General Ledger (GL).
- Monitor unapplied cash, unidentified receipts, short payments, deductions, and accounting discrepancies.
- Manage AR month-end closing, including reconciliation, ageing review, cut-off, and supporting schedules.
- Support expected credit loss (ECL), bad-debt provision, audit, tax, and financial reporting requirements.
- Ensure compliance with TFRS/IFRS, Thai VAT, withholding tax, internal controls, and company accounting policies.
- Supervise, coach, and develop AR team members while ensuring timely and accurate work.
- Identify process issues and drive improvements in AR accounting, reconciliation, and closing efficiency.
- Support ERP and Finance transformation projects as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with strong accounting experience.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in AR Accounting, General Accounting, Cash Application, Reconciliation, Billing Accounting, or Financial Closing.
- At least 2 years of experience supervising a team or leading an accounting process.
- Strong knowledge of AR accounting, reconciliation, month-end closing, revenue cut-off, ECL, and internal controls.
- Working knowledge of TFRS/IFRS, Thai VAT, withholding tax, and accounting requirements.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX, D365 Finance, or other major ERP systems.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills; Power BI or workflow automation experience is an advantage.
- Good command of Thai and English.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, ownership, and people-management skills.
