Scope of the Position:

 

As a Digital Solutions Administrator, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to all Sonepar operating companies in the Ontario area, assisting customers who wish to open an online account or are currently using one of our digital platforms.

 

Major Responsibilities:

 

  • Engage with existing and new customers about their e-commerce interests.
  • Set up new accounts, manage paperwork, and coordinate with all relevant departments, providing ongoing administrative support.
  • Provide monthly updates to vendors on digital performance.
  • Offer customer service support for all online orders.
  • Manage and communicate backorders for all B2C transactions.
  • Maintain customer information, including emails and web shipping details.
  • Update product titles through the WEBUI to ensure accurate search results based on analytics.
  • Assist with customer training sessions.
  • Set up new customers on ACCUBID.
  • Report bugs and follow up with the development team.
  • Update metrics regularly.
  • Keep Management, Sales Reps, and Branch Managers informed about customer interests and issues.
  • Participate in e-commerce projects and web-related activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

 

  • A high school diploma is required; post-secondary education is a plus.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and SX.
  • Over 3 years of experience in e-commerce or administrative roles.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle customer requests from start to finish.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for customer interactions.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a team-first attitude.
  • Collaborate with branches, Operations, and Marketing teams to enhance online customer satisfaction.
  • Share your ideas and experiences with team members to foster a culture of continuous learning.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
