Scope of the Position

Responsible for efficient inventory planning (and related processes), to ensure availability of goods as a key competitive advantage, and to achieve operational targets. Responsible for maintaining inventory levels and assortment.

Major Responsibilities
  • Analyzing and maintaining product assortment, inventory, and safety stock levels, forecast accuracy, transfer frequency, and lead times
  • Review, assess, and report on supply and demand variability, and Identify opportunities to manage and mitigate risk
  • Update Parameters (or responsible for parameter updates) product and kit setup
  • Take Preventive measures to avoid stock outs and missed sales
  • Perform alternate products sources analysis  
  • Review various reports for exceptional usage, expiring thresholds, lead times and frozen reasons
  • Assist on inbound shipment execution and allocation plans for products, ensuring optimal inventory deployment across branches
  • Perform timely vendor pricing updates in ERP
  • Manage Obsolescence, stock rebalancing
  • Manage Vendor returns/stock rotation
  • Ensure Data integrity (master data maintenance)
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Education & Training Required:

  • High school completion required.  Post-secondary diploma or degree preferred (ex – inventory management)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs is required
  • Previous experience using ERP systems

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in Inventory Control, Purchasing or Warehouse logistics
