NorthEast Electrical is looking for a dependable and hardworking team player to join our 2nd Shift Warehouse Team as a Warehouse Janitorial Associate.

 

Location: Brockton, MA
Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:00 PM Start
Pay: $22.00 per hour

 

As a member of the CDC Warehouse team, the Warehouse Janitorial Associate plays a critical role in keeping the warehouse clean, safe, and organized. This position is responsible for the daily upkeep of the warehouse and supporting warehouse operations as needed. This position regularly requires lifting, moving, and handling materials weighing 50 pounds or more.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness throughout the warehouse by sweeping, cleaning, and removing trash and debris from all work areas.
  • Collect and remove pallets from warehouse aisles and storage locations.
  • Sweep the truck pit and loading dock areas.
  • Operate warehouse floor cleaning equipment, including street sweepers and floor scrubbers, to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Sort, collect, and properly store oversized, undersized, and damaged pallets.
  • Operate the trash compactor and manage corrugated cardboard and miscellaneous waste disposal.
  • Support warehouse operations as needed, including loading and unloading trucks and moving materials utilizing powered industrial truck (PIT) equipment.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.

 

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience operating PIT equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
  • Dependable attendance and reliable work habits.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to support the team wherever needed.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing 50 pounds or more.
