Scope of the Position
Responsible providing excellent service to customers who visit Gescan.com to either help them to place orders, and/or provide the information they are looking for and ensuring orders are processed in a timely manner (tracking branch transfers, picking products and shipping).
Major Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service and sales support via phone, email, online chat & social media
- Answer customer inquiries and concerns, including request for product information, online store policies, order tracking, issue resolution, and general information
- Responds to questions regarding processes and procedures, product knowledge, and merchandise availability
- Assists with resolving customer inquiries promptly striving for total customer satisfaction, and set follow-ups as needed to ensure contact resolution
- Resolve post-order queries such as returns, replacements, delivery status, and backorders
- Responsible for ensuring claims are filed with the appropriate carriers for lost and/or damaged packages
- Liaise with other departments (e.g. Operations, Pricing & Purchasing Team, and Branch Associates) as necessary to better serve customers;
- Additional support for the eCommerce warehouse team as necessary
- Assist consumers with website navigation, product questions, and any other experience inquires
- Assist with account setups, payment issues, processing online quotes, and any other customer experience inquires
- Support the eCommerce digital adoption team in identifying and escalating UX/UI opportunities on the website
- Other duties as assigned
Education & Training
- High school diploma required. Completion of a post secondary education is an asset
- Strong product knowledge to answer to customers requests when it comes to electrical distribution
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and SXExperience
- 3+ years related experience in Operations / Warehouse environment
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve and learn
- Attention to details with the ability to deal with customers requests from beginning to end
- Strong verbal communication and writing skills when dealing with customers
- Exceptional communication skills and with a team-first attitude
- Work within a collaborative environment with branches, Operations and Marketing teams to increase customer satisfaction online
- Sharing your thoughts, ideas and experience with other team members and benefit from theirs raising the level of understanding and experience for the team as a whole, helping to create an environment of continual learning
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple task
