Scope of the Position

The Marketing and Creative Specialist works with a multifunctional team of designers, writers, videographers, photographers and developers, to create innovative and usable solutions that satisfy needs spanning ecommerce, digital storytelling, mobile, and in-store experiences.

Major Responsibilities

• Implementing strategic social media programs & tracking/reporting on the effectiveness of programs as it relates to revenue generation.
• Developing and managing website content, creating posting material, targeting & attracting thought leaders to campaigns & media postings.
• Ecommerce - establishing POS & online platforms to attract business customers & corporate buyers.
• Creating/Directing promotional material campaigns (POS, Video, HTML, Print and Posters) to generate sales/awareness throughout the company and sales territory.
• Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing, methods, costs, and results – Management of external vendors.
• Follow creative direction and client brand guidelines, establish design patterns and extensions.
• Create multiple design concepts from creative brief.
• Other duties as required.

Education & Training

• Post secondary education with a specialization in Marketing or Design
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Previous experience with Adobe CS suite
• Expertise in visual design, and interaction design.
   

Experience

• 5-7 years experience in a similar role
• Previous marketing experience and experience in 3-4 areas (specialization in ecommerce, strategic social media, SEO or B2B) marketing & creative team leadership is a must
