The Role

As a Customer Delivery Driver, you are the face of Capital Electric on the road. Your commitment to safety and efficiency ensures our customers get the materials they need, when they need them. We are looking for a reliable, customer-focused individual who takes pride in their work and is ready to make an impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Teamwork & Efficiency: Follow instructions, collaborate with co-workers, and prioritize tasks effectively throughout the workday.
• Prepare and Load: Accurately check, stage, and load materials onto the delivery truck.
• Manage Documentation: Create and process all required shipping manifests.
• Safety First: Conduct daily vehicle inspections and operate the delivery truck safely and responsibly.
• Execute Deliveries: Deliver materials to customer sites or Capital Electric branches efficiently and on time.
• Ensure Satisfaction: Unload materials to customer-requested locations and provide exceptional service.
• Process Returns: Manage the pickup and unloading of customer returns accurately.
• Customer Service:  Approach all interactions with a positive, engaging, and customer‑first mindset, serving both internal and external customers with consistency and professionalism.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must have a valid Commercial Drivers License
• Must be able to pass DOT physical
• 2-years tractor trailer or flatbed driving experience
• One year with no prior traffic violations or license suspensions
• Able to lift up to 50lbs consistently and up to 70lbs occasionally
• Comfortable working with both internal and external customers
• Creative thinker to resolve unexpected delivery issues
• Reliable, responsible, and a great work ethic
