Scope of the Position


Responsible for driving digital customer adoption at Gescan including webshop eCommerce, mobile commerce and Systems-to-Systems integration – eLink, Punchout, EDI/XML etc.



Digital Adoption

  • Meet with customers to promote, demonstrate, train, and implement eCommerce sales tools and system-to-system integration fo digital transactions
  • Drive eCommerce utilization with existing customers, by showing and sharing eCommerce benefits
  • Work with internal technical teams to enhance existing eCommerce solutions and seek out new solutions that fit customer needs
  • Liaise with inside and outside sales teams to drive eCommerce adoption
  • Work with Digital Lead to develop comprehensive selling information tools to ensure sales teams are able to effectively present eCommerce
  • Primary level technical support as required
  • First point of contact for eCommerce related enquiries and enhancement requests
  • Creation of short and long term goals for customer adoption and sales
  • Travel to branches as required
  • Consistent eCommerce site usage to ensure that it performs to customer expectations, and represents company properly
  • Build list of customer targets for eCommerce adoption, with help of sales teams




  • Over 3 years work experience preferably in eCommerce/Sales environment
  • Post secondary education in business and/or a technical discipline is an asset
  • Tech-savvy: good understanding eCommerce and digital marketing
  • Ability to communicate with a wide variety of employees and users with different levels of technical acumen
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products, with an emphasis on Excel, experience with PowerBI an asset
  • Prioritizing tasks to build digital strengths as efficiently as possible
