We have a great opportunity for a customer-oriented Inventory Control Driver.  This position is responsible for delivering products to assigned customers and maintaining appropriate inventory levels at each customer location. This position supports the full delivery cycle, including picking orders, loading the truck, stocking customer shelves, and documenting product returns. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, customer-focused, and comfortable using basic computer systems.

Shift:  Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

We are looking for associates who:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Successful completion of all driver qualifications as specified in the Department of Transportation regulations, including pre-employment physical examination, regularly scheduled follow-up physical examinations, and proof of a safe driving record.
• Drive an assigned route to provide reliable deliveries to dedicated customer locations.
• Monitor customer inventory and replenish products to maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Accurately pick customer orders and verify product quantities before loading.
• Safely load, organize, and secure products on the delivery truck.
• Unload deliveries and restock products on customer shelves in an orderly manner.
• Identify, document, and process customer returns accurately.
• Maintain delivery, inventory, and return records using company computer systems.
• Communicate professionally with customers and respond to routine delivery or inventory questions.
• Follow company safety procedures, traffic laws, and customer site requirements.
• Keep the vehicle and work area clean, organized, and ready for use.

What you bring:

• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to operate a delivery vehicle safely and responsibly.
• Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn inventory and order-entry systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Dependable attendance and the ability to work independently.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to unload material at customer site, including heavy and bulky items.
• Willingness to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jack, and power tools. You will also use push carts and rolling ladders.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Ability to be on your stand for extended periods and traverse the warehouse with or without accommodation.
• Basic problem-solving skills and computer skills.
