What you will do:
- Accurately check and receive inbound products and confirm the shipment is consistent with the purchase order.
- Check product packaging to ensure that it is neat and intact.
- Restock inventory neatly, efficiently, and accurately in assigned locations.
- Perform cycle counts as necessary to ensure inventory count is accurate.
- Utilize radio frequency (RF) guns to scan barcodes and labels allowing us to track appropriate inventory levels.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
What you will bring:
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
- Attention to detail and good time management skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to prioritize needs in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to exercise safety while carrying out all job responsibilities.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
- The ability to stand and walk for the full length of the assigned shift.
- The ability to lift, push, and pull material and objects weighing up to 50 lbs. and heavier weights with proper equipment.
- The ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform various duties.
- The ability to safely operate appropriate powered industrial trucks. Training will be provided.
- This job is performed in a large distribution center warehouse environment.
Salary Range: $17- $19/hr
Location: Cranbury, NJ
Work Hours: Monday-Friday 5:30am
