  • Understand the procedures for shipping orders from 1) reading pick tickets, 2) completing necessary paperwork, 3) loading the right product into the correct trucks 4) operating barcode scanners
  • Complete the pre-shift inspection for forklift, including battery maintenance
  • Operate forklift equipment to maneuver products within the warehouse in a safe and efficient manner
  • Move products by loading/unloading shipments to carriers’ vehicles and storing and managing orders throughout the facility.
  • Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency
  • Assist with general cleaning of work environment
  • Participate in re-certification for forklift operation, as required
  • Perform other related duties as needed
  • Unloading and loading trailers
  • Able to match documentation to material being shipped
  • Occasionally perform light maintenance on the forklift
  • Comply to company policies and procedures
  • Report product defects & damages with adjoining documentation
  • Report near misses and accidents
