The Inside Sales Representative for Safety Services is responsible for generating service sales with existing customers and developing opportunities with prospects within Vallen Safety Services (VSS) designated territories.


Major Responsibilities:

  • Identifying new VSS service offerings for current Vallen customers (warm leads), contacting, and selling.
  • Identifying (in conjunction with Vallen Marketing), new potential VSS customers (prospects), engaging in sales activities and potentially working leads via Vallen’s Territory, National Account and Business Development Managers.
  • Opening new accounts.
  • Entering service orders into system.
  • Maintaining knowledge base on current and new service capabilities.
  • Providing pricing quotations and follow-up on quotes.
  • Provide quotations and service information.
  • Troubleshooting
  • Responding to inquiries.
  • Closing orders.
  • Actively participate in Vallen’s health and safety management system, including training, audits, assessments, safety meetings, and inspections


Education and Training:

  • 1-3 years related experience
  • Service knowledge or industry experience preferred
  • Post-Secondary courses in Sales and/or Marketing an asset
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
