Major Responsibilities: 

  • Promote and embody the Vision, Mission and Values of the Company.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of strategic sales and branch budget plans to accommodate corporate goals.
  • Translate strategic direction into specific objectives for sales channels and alliances. 
  • Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly.
  • Advise dealers, distributors, and clients concerning sales techniques.
  • Review and oversee assigned sales territories for Sales Managers and/or Branch Manager.
  • Assist with the product simplification and standardization process in order to eliminate unprofitable items from sales line.
  • Represent the Company at trade association meetings to promote the Company.
  • Deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.
  • Meet with key clients, assist sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
  •  Foster relationships with senior stakeholder’s and key accounts, essential for securing ongoing business transactions.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
  • Coordinate or conduct customer sales meetings, product knowledge training sessions to educate customer base on products and market targets.
  • Aid President with revenue projections, reporting, budgeting and forecasting for assigned region.
  • Review the daily activities and financial statements vs. objectives and take steps to ensure appropriate measures are taken to correct unsatisfactory results.
  • Manage branch resources within target productivity and efficiency benchmarks.
  • Resolve day to day personnel issues where management decisions are required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 -7 year of business development experience.
  • Proven previous experience with liaisoning with owners, senior representative and customers.
  • Proven successful negotiations from small contracts to large multimillion-dollar agreements.
  • Previous management experience required.
  • Previous sales experience. Specifically, with industrial and commercial products would be an asset.
  • Industry related experience would be preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Powerpoint and Excel) is required.
  • CRM experience preferred.
