Vallen Delivery Drivers operate company-leased vehicles to deliver merchandise to and from customers and suppliers. The successful candidate will provide our clients with superior customer service while working in a fast-paced environment.



•    Provide support for basic warehouse operations as required.
•    Loading and unloading materials in warehouse.
•    Picking orders and preparing them for delivery.
•    Monitoring and tracking inventory as per company procedures.
•    General cleanup and other tasks as required.
•    Adhering to standards/processes in warehouse operations.
•    Performing other related duties and safety checks as required.
•    The ability to meet deadlines for shipment ‘cut-off’ times to customers while simultaneously coordinating multiple projects. 
•    The ideal candidate will be a team player with the ability to work effectively with other warehouse personnel.  
•    Follow proper company policies and procedures when handling paperwork and inventory.
•    Make deliveries as scheduled and perform additional duties (such as loading/unloading, order-picking and packing) as assigned by the warehouse supervisor.
•    Steel-toed boots are mandatory. When necessary, additional Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hard hats and safety glasses are supplied.


The ideal candidate will have the following required qualifications: 
•    Previous warehouse or retail experience considered an asset.
•    Valid driver's license with a clean driver’s abstract.
•    Must be able to speak, read and write English.
•    Ability to problem solve.
•    Strong organizational skills.
•    Focus on customer service.
•    Dexterity with small tools such as a utility knife.
•    Excellent physical condition - ability to lift up to 60 lb.
•    Ability to operate a forklift is considered an asset.
•    Hand/eye coordination.
•    Prolonged standing/walking.
•    Safe use of a ladder.
•    The ability to exhibit team spirit in the branch, and effectively interface with department personnel, while working in a fast paced environment.

Education and Training:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office an asset.
  • Forklift certification and an understanding of ISO procedures, Workplace hazardous Materials information System (WHMIS) and Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations would be considered an asset.
  • 1-2 years of related experience in a Sales/Distribution environment preferred.
