What you will do:
· Efficiently operate machines, direct support staff for safe/efficient production after training period
· Create a work order schedule to prioritize orders; meet all ship date requirements
· Process material efficiently, safely, and accurately
· Become proficient with AutoCAD tools and enclosure design software. (Minimum CAD requirement: Ability to quickly measure, move, add lines, identify, and move zero points within 1 month)
· Debur metal using hand tools to meet finished product standards, inspect and package orders for shipment
· QC parts to ensure compliance with drawings (utilize basic measuring tools, such as calipers)
· Utilize lean manufacturing methods, with focus on 6S for the department
· Warehouse related tasks, order pulling, staging, packaging, shipping
· Process work orders efficiently using the ERP system. (basic warehouse functions)
· Adequately complete other duties as assigned
· Operate other modification equipment as the department expands their line of Value Added services
What you will bring:
· High level of attention to detail with Outstanding organizational skill
· Ability to quickly learn and use Steinhauer Machine Software and controls
· Excellent oral & written communication skills
· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
· Customer focused work ethic
· Manufacturing or warehouse experience
· CNC experience (Vocational/School training acceptable)
· Experience working with metal.
· 2D CAD software experience or ability to read print dimension/tolerance call outs within a month of hire
· Operator level experience with manufacturing software
· Ability to schedule and adapt to changes in evolving environment under time sensitive conditions
· Ability to self direct under limited supervision
· Ability to meet work schedule
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
· Repetitive lifting and pulling of heavy objects (50+ lbs.)
· Use of Steinhauer machine, forklifts, and stock pickers
· Warehouse environment, Requires regular and reliable on-site attendance.
· Usual 40-hour work-week Monday through Friday however based on business needs evening and weekend hour may occasionally be required
