What you will do:

Sales & Customer Engagement:

• Conduct joint sales calls with account managers to develop and strengthen key customer relationships
• Identify opportunities for switchgear sales growth within commercial, residential, and multi-family segments
• Provide technical expertise and solutions to customers, ensuring the best product fit for each project

Project design & Support:

• Assist in designing or reviewing switchgear layouts to meet project specifications
• Work Closely with customers, contractors, and engineering team to provide design assistance and troubleshooting
• Ensure project aligns with industry standards and manufacturer capabilities
• Identify and mitigate potential risk in project pricing, including material cost fluctuations, lead times, and scope changes

Quoting & Pricing strategy:

• Utilize manufacturer bidding software to generate accurate and competitive bids
• Review project specifications, electrical plans, and customer requirements to ensure accurate product selection
• Work closely with manufacturers, and contractors, and internal teams to develop competitive pricing strategies that maximize sales, and profitability
• Maintain and manage manufacturer discount multiplier by product category to ensure accurate pricing, and margin optimization
• Negotiate with manufacturers to secure the most favorable pricing structures for key projects and strategic accounts
• Maintain accurate records of quotes, revisions, and final pricing agreements for future reference and analysis.

What you will bring:

• High School diploma or G.E.D.; and
• 5-7 Years of Switchgear design or installation experience.
• Able to use Adobe and designer software (Bluebeam, AutoCAD, etc.)

Location: This role is a hybrid position and has an in person requirement in our Fresno, CA branch. The role will cover the South Valley and Sacramento regions.

Salary Range:

• This exempt position pays between $106,800.00 - $149,532.00. This salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, within California. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.
