The Business Development Manager (BDM) for System Integrators is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic relationships with system integration partners. This role involves deep collaboration with sales, marketing, and technical teams to drive revenue growth through indirect sales channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy targeting system integrators in key verticals (e.g., data centers, manufacturing, smart buildings).
  • Identify and onboard new system integrator partners aligned with company goals.
  • Build strong relationships with decision-makers and technical influencers at partner organizations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet partner and end-customer needs.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to refine partnership strategies.
  • Lead contract negotiations and partnership agreements.
  • Track and report on KPIs, sales pipeline, and partner performance.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in business development or channel sales, preferably in system integration or technology sectors.
  • Strong understanding of system integration processes and technologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

 

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working with data center infrastructure, industrial automation, or enterprise IT solutions.
  • Familiarity with OEMs and industry standards in system integration.
  • Global or regional experience in partner management.

 

Location

  • This role may be based remotely or in a regional office, with travel required to meet partners and attend industry events.
