A Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst with an ISO focus develops and implements quality control procedures to ensure products and processes meet ISO standards through audits, testing, and documentation. Key responsibilities include conducting internal audits, analyzing quality data, maintaining compliance records, writing and updating quality assurance procedures, and collaborating with teams to identify and correct defects according to international standards. 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Implement and manage quality systems: Ensure all processes adhere to ISO standards, such as ISO 9001, and other relevant regulations.
  • Conduct audits and inspections: Perform regular internal and external audits to verify compliance with quality procedures and standards.
  • Develop and maintain documentation: Create, update, and manage all quality-related documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), test plans, and inspection reports.
  • Analyze data and metrics: Collect, analyze, and report on quality data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for improvement.
  • Test and validate products/processes: Conduct tests to ensure products or processes meet quality specifications and performance benchmarks.
  • Investigate customer complaints and defects: Analyze customer complaints and process deviations, then work with teams to implement corrective actions and preventive measures.
  • Drive continuous improvement: Participate in and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system resilience and efficiency.
  • Train and support teams: Mentor and train other team members on quality standards, procedures, and best practices. 

 

Qualifications

 

Education: Bachelor's degree or work experience in a related field such as computer science, engineering, or related technical discipline is preferred.

 

Experience:

    • Proven experience in a quality assurance or quality control role.
    • Direct experience working with and implementing ISO standards.
    • Familiarity with specific ISO standards relevant to the industry (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 27001).
    • Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and auditing principles.
    • Knowledge of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) is preferred.

 

Skills:

    • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

 

Certifications: 

    • ISO auditor certification is preferred.
