Warehouse Associate / Back-up Driver- $22.00+-Hourly

Job Summary
A warehouse Associate/Back-up Driver is responsible for picking and sorting product based specific to customer orders. The role may be also be responsible for shipping, receiving or delivering supplies, materials and equipment. A Warehouse Associate must always ensure they are maintaining inventory control and records during all product move processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking orders from warehouse inventory using item location identifiers
- Unloading, moving and storing materials
- Utilizing manual lifts, reach trucks and transfer equipment (requires applicable safety and operational training)
- Storing and stacking materials according to company standards
- Identifying and verifying parts
- Reporting inventory shortages and recommending new orders
- Removing damaged materials from stock and document inventory adjustment accordingly
- Operating RF scanners and other hand-held devices
- Other responsibilities may be assigned.
- 2nd shift position - Monday-Friday. 12:00pm-9:30pm
Minimum work experience requirements:
- 6 months of related experience working in a warehouse and/or distribution environment preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
- Knowledge of branch product lines.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving practices.
- Knowledge of Company policies and procedures.
- Skill in organizing and prioritizing personnel and work activities.
- Knowledge of merchandise handling and production methods.
- Some knowledge of basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
- Ability to effectively communicate.
- Must be a team player and abide by QED’s strong core values and beliefs.
