Responsibilities

Crawford is looking for a Social Media and Content Specialist to join our Marketing Team. This role is perfect for a creative storyteller who understands how to turn business needs into clear, useful content people want to read.

The ideal candidate is equal parts creator, strategist, and community builder, someone who can produce highquality content, manage social channels, and support brand initiatives across the organization.

Essential Responsibilities

Social Media Management

  • Develop and execute the social media content calendar across all platforms
  • Create engaging posts, stories, and shortform videos aligned to brand voice
  • Monitor performance, engagement, and audience growth
  • Respond to comments and messages in coordination with internal teams
  • Partner with the marketing team on messaging and campaigns

Content Creation

  • Produce highquality graphics, visuals, and short videos for digital channels
  • Write clear, compelling copy for social, email, landing pages, and internal communications
  • Support creation of flyers, line cards, event materials, and promotional assets
  • Maintain and evolve brand templates, including PowerPoint and letterhead

Campaign and Event Support

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to support multi-channel campaigns
  • Create content for events including grand openings, counter days, customer training, and selling events
  • Attend select events to capture content (photos, videos, interviews) for use on social and digital channels

Report and Optimization

  • Track and report on social media performance and content engagement
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve reach, engagement, and conversions
  • Support monthly and quarterly marketing reporting
  • Provide general support to the marketing department by assisting with additional projects and responsibilities as needed

 

 

Qualifications

 Preferred Skills/Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills with a portfolio of content samples
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)
  • Experience with social media scheduling and analytics platforms
  • Strong understanding of digital content trends, formats, and best practices
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work crossfunctionally and manage multiple deadlines
  • Familiarity with the electrical distribution industry is a plus
