Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for the performance of facility maintenance such as light plumbing, changing of light bulbs and ballasts, carpentry, painting, and other repairs at all assigned sites.
  • Responsible for maintaining the property through janitorial duties i.e. cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of facilities. 
  • Responsible for grounds maintenance to include sweeping, landscaping, and other work at site.
  • Assist with set-up/tear-down of tables and chairs for group meetings.
  • Assist in checking facilities for safety hazards and report any deficiencies.
  • Ensure all windows and entrances/exits are secured at end of work shift.
  • Conduct regular maintenance of property such as pest control, alarm system, etc.
  • Responsible for moving of furniture and supplies when needed.
  • Clean restrooms, restock paper and soap supplies.
  • Clean windows, mirrors, and partitions.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies.
  • Notify managers regarding the need for repairs or additions to building operating systems.
  • Empty trash receptacles, dispose trash into trash compactors/dumpsters for proper disposal.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

 

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for many hours
  • Communication skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and climb ladders
  • Experience using cleaning equipment and cleaning solutions

 

Environment

 

  • Long and varied hours required occasionally
  • Ability to work mandatory physical inventory
  • Ability to work in extreme hot or cold environment
  • Ability to work in dusty conditions
