Position:	PM Maintenance Custodian/Facilities Technician 2pm to 10:30pm (Mon - Friday)
Location:	CDC Katy, TX

Responsibilities

Responsible for the performance of facility maintenance such as light plumbing, changing of light bulbs and ballasts, carpentry, painting, and other repairs at all assigned sites.
Responsible for maintaining the property through janitorial duties i.e. cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of facilities.
Responsible for grounds maintenance to include sweeping, landscaping, and other work at site.
Assist with set-up/tear-down of tables and chairs for group meetings.
Assist in checking facilities for safety hazards and report any deficiencies.
Ensure all windows and entrances/exits are secured at end of work shift.
Conduct regular maintenance of property such as pest control, alarm system, etc.
Responsible for moving of furniture and supplies when needed.
Clean restrooms, restock paper and soap supplies.
Clean windows, mirrors, and partitions.
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies.
Notify managers regarding the need for repairs or additions to building operating systems.
Empty trash receptacles, dispose trash into trash compactors/dumpsters for proper disposal.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Basic math skills
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for many hours
Communication skills
Ability to lift heavy objects and climb ladders
Experience using cleaning equipment and cleaning solutions

Environment

Long and varied hours required occasionally
Ability to work mandatory physical inventory
Ability to work in extreme hot or cold environment
Ability to work in dusty conditions
