Responsibilities

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – SAFETY:

  • Develop, implement, and facilitate a comprehensive, company-wide “Safety Program.”
  • “Safety Program” to include but not limited to:
  • Risk Management
  • DOT Compliance
  • Vehicle Safety Initiative
  • Safety Award Program
  • Safety Newsletter
  • Employee Safety and Life-saving Training
  • Workplace Injury & Illness Prevention
  • CDC/Branch Safety Inspections
  • Analyze data and implement strategies to address areas of weakness

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – FACILITY MAINTENANCE:

  • Develop, implement, and facilitate a comprehensive Facility Maintenance program
  • Facility Maintenance Program to include but not limited to:
  • Facility Maintenance Inspections
  • Utility Management
  • Scheduled maintenance plan for: Heating/Air/Electrical/Plumbing/Parking Lots/Building Structures/Paint/Walls and Flooring
  • Warehouse equipment
  • Office equipment
  • A/V & Data Equipment

Qualifications

 

  • Proven experience with Facilities Management
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or comparable industry experience
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of state and federal law regarding safety and facility management
  • Experience in lease management
  • Financial management skills and experience with working within assigned budgets
  • Proven leadership skills and team management experience
  • Effective conflict resolution and problem-solving ability
  • Strong computer skills, database management and record keeping
