JOB PURPOSE
This position supports the Zonal Head in Bhubaneshwar and responsible for developing IAD (Industrial Automation Distribution), Projects, DTSS (Digital Transformation Software Services) & NEST (Netwokring Engineering Solutions) business in Chhattisgarh region. Candidate will be handling direct customers like End user/EPC/OEM & SI/Dealer network to increase brand awareness within the industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
External Communication
• Be the Sonepar Front line Sales force for effective communication with Customers for all product portfolio.
• Plan the marketing activities across assigned customers with close-coordination with business development team.
• Active enagement with Partners (Rockwell/Mersen/Cisco/Beamex/HMS/Prosoft/BELDEN etc) for opportunity discussion, plan for joint engagement activities.
• New Lead/opportunity generation, Sales & revenue Target Achievement, AR Collection.
Internal Communication
• Close working with Pricing Team for Rockwell business penetration.
• Co-Ordination with Revenue Planning team for revenue planning.
• Active engagement with Finance Team for AR Collection & Credit Policy finalization.
• Co-ordination with Procurement team for timely execution of PO.
KEY COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS
• DCS/PLC/VFD/SCADA/Vibration Monitoring. (Rockwell Automation Preferred)
• Networking & Communication products, Industrial Wireless. (CISCO/BELDEN Preferred)
• IIOT/ AR / Software Solutions/ Substation Automation (PTC ThingworX preferred)
• Turn-Key C&I Projects/Test Bench/Substation Automation Projects etc.
• Effective Communication/Quick Problem Solving
• Analytical Thinking/ Cross-Function Co-ordination.
• Discipline Sales prcocess & must be strong on reporting.
• Presentation Skills & having fair knowledge in MS excel.
• Marketing Activities Planning
CREDENTIALS & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Instrumentation/Electronics or Masters‘ Degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 8-12 years‘ experience in Front End Sales.
• Fluent in Business English both written and spoken.
ROLE LOCATION & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
• The candidate will be posted at Bhilai/Raipur.
• Willing to travel more than 70% of time within Chhattisgarh region.
