This position supports the Manager – Business Development in Kolkata and is responsible for Technical Service related jobs during Pre-sales/Post Sales on Rockwell Automation & IIOT products in Eastern region of India.





External Communication

  • Be the Sonepar Front line Service force for Automation & Software Solutions.
  • Understanding developement, commissioning, troubleshooting requirement as per request or work order from customer.
  • Remote support to customers when there is challenge to be present at site or quick support is needed.
  • Delivering good quality service to customers for earning appreciation & trust followed by repetitive service leads.
  • Active enagement with Partners (Rockwell) for taking support on-line, as needed.
  • Presentating/Demostrating Rockwell Products/Software solutions at customers‘ place.
  • Conducting Proof of concepts for Cusotmers.
  • Promotion of Rockwell Service/Training/AMC Offerings with customers.
  • Install base mapping of customer and discussion on any Migration/Modernization plan with relevant solution offerings.
  • Hands-on/Classroom Trainings (on-site/in-house) to OEM/EU/SI customers on Rockwell Products & Solutions.


Internal Communication

  • Provide Pre-Sales support to design Automation Solutions based on specific requirement.
  • Coordination with Revenue team, for billing on closed service cases.
  • Sharing knowledge to sales team to promote new service related offerings.





  • PLC/DCS/VFD(AC Drives)/Motion Control/SCADA/Vibration (preferably on Rockwell Automation).
  • Knowledge on Networking/Communication (L2/L3), Safety System, IIOT Solutions.
  • Effective Communication, Quick Problem Solving, Analytical Thinking.
  • Must be proactive and should possess high sense of responsibility.
  • Knowledge on Industry 4.0 Technologies– IIOT, Cloud Computing, AR/VR, AI/ML.





  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Instrumentation/Electronics or related field.
  • Overall 5-6 years of experience in Industrial Automation with Minimum 3 years hands-on experience on Rockwell products.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English.




  • The role is based in Kolkata.
  • Willing to travel more than 70% of time within Eastern & NE Part of India.
