The Bid Coordinator oversees and coordinates the bidding process from start to finish. Identify the electrical e-sheets, fixture schedules, lighting designer cut sheets, and controls. You will be in charge of our shared Lighting quotes box that oversees all bid requests from our 100+ electrical contractors as well as work with our quotations team on being on time for bid dates. Gather key information and communicate to our vendors with the ECs bid invite, counts, plans and essential documents to obtain an accurate quote in a timely manner. Lead and organize the quotations team by facilitating the each representatives quote into the proper department members hands for the bid process.  

 

What you'll do:

  • Lead and coordinate the entire bid management process, including reviewing bid invitations, conducting bid/no-bid analysis and establishing timelines.
  •  Work with pricing teams to develop competitive pricing strategies that align with bid requirements and profitability targets.
  • Monitor and track bid performance metrics, analyzing win/loss data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Continuously refine and improve bid processes, templates and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market insights and emerging best practices in bid management.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

 

What you'll bring:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in as PDF, excel, MS word and outlook.
  • Strong knowledge of Lighting equipment and terminology.
  • Prefer Electrical Distribution and/or Lighting Rep / Manufacturer experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend electrical plans.
