Codale Electric Supply is seeking a Lighting Projects Manager to lead and oversee multiple lighting projects from inception to completion. This role is critical to ensuring client satisfaction, project profitability, and long-term business growth. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to build and manage their own team and business unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead lighting projects from approval through final completion.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks proactively.
- Provide technical support, documentation, and regular project updates to stakeholders.
- Coordinate design, procurement, and installation phases with internal and external teams.
- Ensure project deliverables meet budget, schedule, and quality expectations.
- Oversee job cost accounting, including documentation, approvals, and reporting.
- Manage warranty claims, damaged goods, freight issues, and return authorizations.
- Resolve issues related to product selection, pricing, and logistics.
- Ensure job site safety and compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.
- Handle multiple work orders and service calls across regional or national locations.
- Process customer orders and inquiries, resolving issues using root-cause analysis.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies and equipment for optimal project outcomes.
- Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and timely delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and field personnel.
- Travel as needed to monitor project installations and ensure quality execution.
Desired Qualifications
- Proven experience in lighting project management.
- Strong client relationship and consultation skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree, technical training, or equivalent experience.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
- Ability to pass a security clearance investigation if required.
Physical & Travel Requirements
- Office-based work involving extended periods of sitting and computer use.
- Occasional overnight travel by vehicle, air, or rail.
- Frequent walking and standing on interior and exterior project sites.
- Regular use of hands, fingers, vision, and speech for communication and documentation.
