Scope of the Position:

Develop and Maintain Business Intelligence & Analytic solutions for Sonepar Canada with Microsoft BI stack solution.

 

Major Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, develop, and support Microsoft’s Business Intelligence Technologies including Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Analysis Server, Reporting Services, Integration Services, DAX, Excel, Power BI and Azure BI environment
  • Provide production support for the client's applications. Activities include program analysis, testing and system enhancements. Some support may be outside of normal business hours.
  • Resolves challenging problems in collaboration with other internal customers or IT teams.
  • All other activities related to data subjects matter including internal team training.

 

Experience Required:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Microsoft Business Intelligence sphere including Azure Cloud BI solutions
  • Good knowledge of Data Lake, Lakehouse
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure BI Tools like Databricks, Fabric, Synapse and Azure Data Factory (a plus)
  • Good knowledge in relational database and SQL Query writing
  • Knowledge Microsoft BI Stack, POWER BI, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS (Tabular)
  • Business knowledge in Wholesale and Distribution spheres (a plus)

 

Education and Training:

  • Bachelor Degree or Collegial Degree in Information Systems.
  • Ability to handle multiple complex tasks in priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual French and English Required
