Reporting to the Director of Strategy & Special Projects, the Functional Analyst supports delivery of products in relation to digital transformation, with a primary focus on frontline customer relationship management technology.


Together with the designated Project Manager, the Functional Analyst is accountable to work with stakeholders to develop a product vision, gather and prioritize requirements. The Functional Analyst validates stakeholder requirements by rapidly prototyping/testing solutions (O365, PowerPlatform Dynamics, Azure), achieved by working with technology teams to deliver products in iterations leveraging Agile methodology. The Functional Analyst, working closely with the Project Manager, will also support release planning, scope, schedule and budget management.


What you’ll do

  • • Understand and Document Requirements - Work closely with business partners to gather complex business requirements and facilitate solution design discussions to ensure you meet project needs. Build strong relationships, lead discussions, listen and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements.
  • • Relationship Management - Build ongoing partnerships with key partners across the business, including Product, Channels, Technology, Marketing and Operations. Work closely with various teams towards a common goal and negotiate deliverables and milestones, as required.
  • • Agile Product Delivery: Deliver products in prioritized increments. Oversee the backlog development, testing and implementation of capabilities. You will support the design and integration of cross functional applications.
  • • Change Management – Provide support for the transformational change management initiatives that relate to the product rollout.

Qualifications

Expectations for this position

  • Microsoft Power Apps + Dynamics 365 Developer Certification is a plus
  • Excellent business acumen and understanding of core business processes
  • Excellent presentation and demonstration skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong learning aptitude and ability to learn new technologies independently
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Must have excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Positive attitude towards change and ability to adapt

 

Your Experience and Abilities

  • 5+ years in a consultative, marketing, or sales organization
  • 2+ years in product management or project management
  • Understand, capture, and articulate a customer’s existing business process
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel
  • Strong understanding and usage of ERP software
  • Strong understanding and usage of BI reporting software
