Answering to the credit supervisor, the candidate will oversee and manage a portfolio of client accounts. They will take part in the entire process: analyze credit applications, establish and review credit lines, collect outstanding balances, request collaterals when necessary, manage construction projects, and help reach performance objectives according to set standards, all while complying with the company’s credit policy. You are: analytical, independent, a negotiator, organized, a team player, and dedicated to customer service.

 

You must:

 

· Have a DEC in administration, accounting, or any other related field

· Have 5 years of experience in credit/collection (asset if in the construction industry)

· Be bilingual (French/English) (spoken and written)

· Have obtained a professional designation such as CCP, GCC (asset)

 

You will:

· Compile and analyze financial data and credit information for opening and reviewing client accounts

· Authorize or recommend credit lines

· Oversee the daily review of client accounts that exceed authorized credit lines

· Collect outstanding balances

· Assess and authorize orders withheld due to credit reasons

· Analyze and manage credit for construction project accounts

· In a proactive way, keep in close contact with internal and external clients

· Manage and take part in resolving a client dissatisfaction or dispute

· Play an active role in reaching objectives set by the credit department

· Take part in various projects to continually improve the department

· Perform any other related tasks
