Scope of Position:

The ERP Software Developer is responsible for assessing business requirements to propose and develop functional and technical solutions. Our ERP Software Developer creates clean and efficient code, performs unit testing and offers level 2 support.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the development, implementation, and execution of business system strategies.
• Collaborate with the development team, business analysts and system analysts to analyze, develop, and improve both new and existing software code for corporate applications such as ERP, WMS, etc.
• Assist the team in documenting functional and technical requirements for changes and new features.
• Propose technical solutions to business requests: functional, technical or integration specifications.
• Participate in the maintenance and continual improvement of our ERP, WMS and related systems.
• Perform unit testing.
• Assist the QA team in recreating anomalies encountered by customers and during testing.
• Perform level 2 customer support.
• Responsible to follow and promote the SDLC of the PMO.
• Promote modifications to the production environment in accordance with guidelines as required.

Requirements:

• Diploma in computer science or equivalent work experience acceptable.
• 5+ Years experience with OpenEdge (Progress) language (GUI, CHUI).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills.
• Fluently bilingual (English and French).
• Understanding of Distribution and Logistics in a B2B Environment
• Experience with Java, JavaScript, HTLM5, PostgreSQL
• Experience with SX/TWL an asset.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Solid organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail
