The IT Assets & Systems Specialist is a multi-disciplinary role responsible for IT asset management, ServiceNow platform development, and telephony systems across Canada.
This role also provides support to IT operations through Level 1 helpdesk and Level 2 technical activities, contributing to overall service continuity.
Responsbilities:
- Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets (procurement, deployment, tracking, refresh, and disposal), ensuring data accuracy, compliance with internal policies, and readiness for audits
- Coordinate IT procurement activities and maintain vendor relationships, including sourcing equipment and services, validating quotes, tracking orders, and supporting cost-effective purchasing decisions
- Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow workflows, forms, and automation solutions, translating business requirements into efficient processes and driving continuous platform improvements
- Act as the primary contact for telephony systems across Canada, including deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordination with external service providers to ensure system reliability
- Support telephony modernization initiatives and project execution, including site readiness, scheduling, and collaboration with business stakeholders to ensure smooth rollouts
- Provide Level 1 helpdesk and Level 2 technical support as required, troubleshooting hardware, software, and system issues, and ensuring timely resolution of service requests
- Maintain accurate documentation, procedures, and knowledge base content, and contribute to the continuous improvement of tools, processes, and service delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of IT support experience (Level 1 / Level 2)
- Experience with:
- IT asset management
- ServiceNow configuration/development
- Telephony systems (VoIP / BroadSoft or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Windows environment, Office 365, and Active Directory
- Bilingual (French/English)
- Ability to travel occasionally and participate in on-call rotation
- This position requires regular on-site presence. Work from home may be permitted in accordance with the team’s applicable framework.
Considered an Asset:
- ITIL certification
- ServiceNow CSA certification
- ERP/WMS exposure (e.g., SX, TWL)
- Experience with IT projects (telephony or asset refresh initiatives)
