Scope of the position
The S2S Integrations Project Manager is responsible for leading and delivering system to system integration initiatives including but not be limited to Electronic Data Exchange (EDI), Digital Punchouts, and other Integration layer projects. This role manages the full lifecycle of EDI and integration projects involving customers, suppliers, logistics providers, and internal enterprise systems (ERP, WMS, TMS, MDM, Finance).
The successful candidate will act as the central orchestrator between business stakeholders, external partners, and technical teams to ensure integrations are delivered on time, within scope, and to operational standards, while minimizing business disruption.
Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of S2S and EDI integration projects, from intake and scoping through testing, go‑live, and post‑implementation support.
- Manage project plans, timelines, dependencies, risks, and issue resolution across multiple concurrent integrations.
- Facilitate project governance including status reporting, escalation management, and stakeholder communication.
- Coordinate across internal teams (IT, ERP, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations) and external partners.
- Develop comprehensive process documentation, training materials, and technical manuals to support integration initiatives.
- Continuously review, analyze, and enhance S2S workflows and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Monitor and test system performance and provide performance statistics and reports.
- Perform data audits and quality control measures.
- Recommend and coordinate modifications and upgrades to S2S implementations in order to improve efficiency, reliability, and performance.
- Work with S2S vendors to maintain S2S software, testing and application of patches, upgrades.
- Setup new S2S trading partnerships and assist with on-boarding of new partners.
- Collaborate with trading partners, internal teams and external partners to define and capture requirements, specifications.
- Create or oversee creation of S2S mappings.
- Integrate S2S to business processes.
- Triage S2S related bugs and prioritize them - reviewing azure logs when possible to identify any issues prior to assigning to developers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field.
- Certifications or training courses as a systems integrator or EDI Analyst an asset.
- Strong understanding of integration project lifecycles in enterprise environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with a pragmatic mindset for innovation.
- Solid understanding of EDI concepts, standards, and transaction flows.
- Familiarity with integration platforms (middleware, iPaaS, EDI translators).
- Experience working with enterprise systems such as ERP, WMS, TMS, or Finance platforms.
- Understanding of data mapping, validation, acknowledgements, and error handling.
- Familiarity with coding practices and software development lifecycles.
- Strong project management skills (planning, execution, risk management).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams without direct authority.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Organized, detail‑oriented, and delivery‑focused.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Fully fluent in English and French
