Warehouse Shift Lead

 

1st Shift Lead Warehouse Associate

$21.12 +/hour starting rate + (Pay for Experience)

Eligible for a $2000.00 Sign-On Bonus if hired!

[1st shift] SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm (OT available)

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Direct the day-to-day warehouse activities including picking, packing, and loading of customer orders and transfers. Monitor and verify the accuracy of outbound shipments by checking items and quantities against picking documents.
  • Ensure that all customer orders and branch transfers are filled, packaged, loaded, and delivered correctly and on schedule.  Monitor to ensure that security procedures are being followed.
  • Monitor equipment maintenance and housekeeping. Share information concerning best practices, procedures, and policies to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
  • Assist in training and development of associates.  Monitor attendance, hours worked and job performance.

 

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of one year warehouse lead experience.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, organized, and positive warehouse environment.
  • Able to comprehend oral and written communication skills to effectively read labels, tickets, and other product documentation.
  • Ability to frequently lift, push, carry, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to stand and move throughout the warehouse in various temperatures.
  • Able to accurately use basic math skills.
  • Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
  • Attention to detail and good time management skills.
