Job Summary 

The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all operations of a branch. Duties include hiring staff, heading the onboarding and staff training process, building rapport with customers and vendors, and creating and implementing strategies to improve productivity and sales performance in effort to achieve the branch’s financial targets and successful alignment with the strategic goals of Company. This position is responsible obtaining optimum efficiency, local level accuracy, and maximizing profits by performing the following duties: 

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Identify, evaluate and manage strategic risks and opportunities. 

  • Ensure compliance with company and industry policies and procedures. 

  • Increase the overall productivity of the branch by implementing relevant employee training, budgeting effectively, eliminating operational inefficiencies and capturing growth opportunities. 

  • Maintain meaningful relationships with current customers and establish good relationships with new ones. 

  • Develop and oversee sales and marketing strategies. 

  • Manage daily operations, especially customer service and finance activities, and make improvements as needed. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Knowledge of Managerial best practices and company policies. 

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business reports, and general compliance regulations.  

  • Ability to lead, source, train, coach, and continuously develop staff. 

  • Ability to effectively communicate, and present information. 

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions in order to achieve branch profitability and performance.  

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B. A.) or equivalent from four-year college; and five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  A Master’s Degree is preferred.
