Warehouse Yard-Conduit Associate

QED is hiring a Warehouse Conduit-Yard Associate to join our team!

What You’ll Do:

1. • Receiving: Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, packing slips, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.

1. • Marks materials with identifying information.

1. • Opens bales, crates, and other containers.

1. • Verifies and records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.

1. • Drives equipment to transport items within the warehouse.

1. • Uses computer to enter records.

1. • Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.

1. • Put away: Sorts and places material or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, style, or product code.

1. • Marks materials with identifying information.

1. • Weighs or counts items for distribution within warehouse to ensure conformance to company standards.

1. • Picking: Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to customers and sales.

1. • Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.

1. • Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.

1. • Packing:  Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.

1. • Verifies the product that has been picked and documents discrepancies on an error log and has correct product re-picked

1. • Confirm tickets.

1. • Use computer to enter records in system.

1. • Loading: Consolidates freight for shipping.

1. • Load trucks for delivery to customers.

1. • Routing: Facilitates and distributes shipping tickets

1. • Verifies shipping method

1. • Manages delayed release tickets

1. • Communicates oversize loads to freight carriers

1. • Inspects and maintains printing equipment

1. • Ensures shipping routes are maintained Pipe Yard

1. • Receive pipe and conduit

• • Prepare pipe and conduit bundles for shipping orders
  • Other duties may be assigned.

What You’ll Bring:

• Education and/or Experience:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or
• Three months or more related experience and/or training; or
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Location:  Mesa, AZ

Schedule:  12:00pm-9:00pm  (Monday-Friday)
