Implementation Project Specialist
Location: Open to all Viking Electric office geography, Minneapolis preferred.
Job type: Full time
Schedule: Standard Daytime hours, Monday-Friday
Total Compensation Range: $65,000 - $96,750
*The exact amount of base wage may vary based on experience and skills brought to the role as well as the geographic location of the role.
About the Role
Viking Electric is seeking an Implementation Project Specialist to lead and manage projects that drive efficiency, quality, and communication across the organization. In this role, you will plan, coordinate, and monitor projects from concept to production, ensuring successful delivery on schedule, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
What You’ll Do
- Lead cross-functional projects to improve business processes and systems.
- Define and communicate project requirements to ensure alignment across teams.
- Allocate resources, monitor progress, and resolve issues to keep projects on track.
- Provide regular status updates and highlight risks to management.
- Act as a corporate resource, guiding project committees and mentoring leadership.
- Evaluate business and system functionality to identify gaps and recommend enhancements.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 3+ years developing, implementing, and supporting business solutions.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or technology OR
- Associate degree in technology plus 5 years of business/IT experience.
- Project Management or Business Analyst certification preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across departments.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, databases, and PC applications.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 25%.
