Sales Operations Manager

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota
Job type: Full time
Schedule: Standard business hours, Monday-Friday
Salary: $100,000 - $160,000
*Compensation for this position includes annual salary, 20% short-term incentive bonus, and full benefits package offerings. The exact amount of base salary may vary based on experience and skills brought to the role as well as the geographic location of the role.
What You’ll Do
Manage and develop Account Representatives, Store Management, and area CSR team to achieve maximum sales penetration and gross profits for the market. This position will also serve as a resource to the Regional VP of Sales in working to build regional consistency.
You will…
- Work with the Sales Management team on sales growth initiatives and understand the role of your team in the achievement of goals.
- Work with Account Representatives (inside sales) to establish and execute customer plans for profitable growth in the areas of customer service, market share and gross margin
- Actively engage in communication and coordination with other Sales Managers in setting and measuring expectations of sales teams.
- Create a team approach to customer service among Account Representatives and CSR associates.
- Manage and train the sales team to ensure consistent use of our software system to maximize the reporting, pricing, and other tools available.
What You Bring
Requirements:
- Seven years’ previous sales or equivalent experience and an aptitude for management responsibilities.
- Familiarity with Viking Electric departments and thorough understanding of product preferred.
- Previous experience leading a team is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree preferred
