Branch Manager
As the Branch Manager you will oversee all branch operations achieving optimal efficiency, operational economy, and profit maximization. This role involves managing sales, warehouse, delivery, and administrative functions either directly or through subordinate supervisors in alignment with specific organizational objectives.
What you will do:

Branch Performance: Oversee branch sales performance, business plans, customer service levels, and project status. Coordinate with the District Manager to ensure alignment with broader company objectives.

Customer Interaction: Regularly engage with customers to enhance service levels and achieve sales targets. Address, mediate, and resolve customer concerns, complaints, and issues to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.

Employee Training and Development: Oversee the initial and ongoing training of all branch employees, ensuring they meet qualification standards. Conduct performance evaluations and manage personnel issues to maintain a motivated and efficient team.

Hiring: Interview and hire candidates for various branch positions, ensuring the selection of qualified team-oriented associates.

Inventory Management: Monitor and manage branch inventory, including daily reconciliation of discrepancies and adjustments. Coordinate and complete regular inventory initiatives to maintain accurate stock levels.

Vendor Negotiations: Negotiate pricing and resolve issues with vendors in collaboration with local and company purchasing departments to secure favorable terms.

Financial Planning: Prepare branch budgets and forecasts, ensuring financial targets are met. Develop business plans for branch operations and create capital expenditure plans to support growth and efficiency.
Experience and skillsets needed:

Leadership: Understanding and proven experience of best practices in managing exempt and non-exempt employees. Ability to train and develop associates while driving a positive culture.

Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting information to top management, customers, vendors, employees, and the public.

Business Acumen: Ability to leverage knowledge of supply chain, logistics, operations inventory, and sale profitability to increase efficiency, drive decision-making, and coach associates.

Relationship Building: Establish and maintain effective working relationships throughout the organization and customer base.

Problem-Solving: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and provide innovative solutions.

Technical Aptitude: Proficient in working in various systems such as CRMs, ERP, and Microsoft Office Suite.
