What you will do:

  • Complete a minimum of (15) Sales Calls per week to target account list
  • CRM Funnel management- Logging ALL sales opportunities weekly.  Maintain the funnel with current comments and action items
  • Business Development – Identify new customers and penetrate existing customers for growth in the above-listed products
  • Perform sales calls on end users, OEM, and System Integrators to identify and close opportunities; both joint (with our outside team and solo).  Calls with Rockwell Automation are required on target-identified accounts
  • Collaboration with Rockwell – pull in appropriate resources to close opportunities and meet sales goals
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Account Managers in the following areas:
    • Pricing support
    • Technical product features and benefits
    • Commercial support
  • Introduce and demonstrate new products to accounts
  • Develop strong vendor relationships
  • Develop superior product knowledge to assist customers with product application
  • Demand Creation – Marketing activities such as website updates, email campaigns, and seminars
  • Attend internal OneSource sales team training for inside, and outside sales as well as related product managers
  • Training – online web-enabled Rockwell courses, work with local Rockwell resources and factory-based class environments
  • Inventory management in conjunction with OneSource purchasing
  • Proficiency with Rockwell’s Proposal Works software
  • Products / Solutions Rockwell HOTT training:  requires travel to various locations
  • Participate in monthly business and opportunity reviews with Sales Management Team
  • Other duties and/or projects as assigned


What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A or B.S.) from a 4-year college or University; or
  • 5 years of related Rockwell experience and/or Siemens/ABB experience; or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.


Work Location: the ideal candidate will be located in Northern San Diego County or Southern Orange County. Your customer base will be within this territory.


Salary Range:

  • This exempt position pays between $82,200.00 – $112,332.00.  This salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, within California. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. This role also offers a competitive commission plan.
