How will you shape our tomorrow
Contribute to building a robust and reliable HR data ecosystem, enabling better management of costs, headcount, and HR processes, while driving a data-driven transformation of the HR function with a strong focus on data quality, consistency, and automation.
Main responsibilities :
• Database construction and structuring:
- Design and implement a single, structured, and reliable HR database, serving as the reference foundation for all analyses and strategic deliverables (My Sonepar Total Rewards, budget, projections, rolling forecast, reporting, etc.)
- Structure shared databases across HR / Finance / Accounting (staff costs, recharges, provisions, etc.)
- Ensure consistency across different data sources (payroll, HRIS, Finance files)
- Draft specifications following evolving Finance requirements
- Define and structure data governance rules
• Data reliability and quality:
- Identify gaps and inconsistencies across data sources
- Implement automated data quality controls
- Document data governance rules
- Contribute to continuous improvement of data processes
• Analysis and reporting:
- Produce and automate regular reporting (headcount, movements, absenteeism, remote work, payroll, compensation cycles, etc.)
- Build management dashboards (Excel / Power BI)
• Process automation and tool improvement:
- Automate recurring deliverables (reporting, controls)
- Propose process improvements
- Contribute to cross-functional projects (HRIS)
- Feed and support COPILOT dedicated to employee requests
Scope of Responsibilities
Operates across a cross-functional scope at the core of HR steering, playing a key role in transforming data into actionable decision-making insights.
The experience you bring
Knowledge
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data/Analytics, Business, HR, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or equivalent
- Solid understanding (or strong interest) in HR fundamentals and key HR metrics: headcount, movements, absenteeism, payroll mass, compensation cycles,
- Basic understanding of data management principles: data consistency, data quality, documentation, and governance
- Awareness of confidentiality and data privacy requirements when handling sensitive HR data (GDPR mindset).
- Ability to connect data topics with business needs such as cost and workforce steering (HR/Finance interface).
Soft Skills :
- Strong work ethic and high level of confidentiality,
- Rigorous, analytical, and able to synthesize information,
- High attention to detail and rigor; you enjoy making data reliable and “audit-proof”
- Analytical mindset with the ability to structure problems, identify inconsistencies, and propose practical fixes.
Technical Skills :
- Strong command of Excel (advanced formulas, pivots, data cleaning)
- First experience or strong interest in Power BI (dashboards, basic modeling, refresh logic).
- Understanding of data quality controls (reconciliations, checks, anomaly detection) and ability to document rules.
Work Mode & Location
Hybrid: 3 days in Paris (8ème)
