How will you shape our tomorrow
As part of the Group Brand & Content team, the Group Content Manager plays a key role in shaping and deploying Sonepar’s strategic communications at Group level. The role provides high-impact communications support to key corporate functions and ensures consistency, compelling messaging across Regions and Countries, and driving engagement, storytelling and measurable impact.
This position operates at the intersection of strategy, brand, content, and internal communications, working closely with Group functions, international network and executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Communications & Advisory
- Provide strategic communications support to Group functions including HR, General Counsel, Sustainability and Digital Enterprise, translating complex topics into clear, engaging narratives.
- Act as a trusted communications partner for functional leaders on strategic initiatives, change communications, and key milestones.
Group Messaging & Executive Voice
- Develop Group-level key messaging to be cascaded across all Sonepar Regions and Countries, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with the Group strategy and Purpose.
- Identify, curate, and share local best practices to inspire and elevate communications standards across the Group.
- Provide key messaging for International Communications Committee and Editorial Committee and contribute to leadership communication materials.
Campaigns, Management & Channels
- Lead cross-channels campaigns from concept to execution, coordinating with multiple stakeholders at Group and local levels.
- Create awareness and engagement through brand-driven content (editorial, storytelling, campaigns).
- Oversee and regularly update Group intranet content, ensuring relevance, coherence, and user engagement.
Measurement & Impact
- Define, track, and analyze KPIs to measure campaign performance, ROI, and overall communications impact.
The experience you bring
Experience
- 7–10+ years of experience in corporate communications, brand, content, or internal communications, ideally in an international organization.
- Proven experience working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Proven experience managing Group-level or multi-country communication initiatives is a strong asset.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate strategy into compelling messages
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills in French (English native is a plus).
- Ability to manage complex topics (digital, sustainability, supply chain) with clarity and impact.
- Solid understanding of communication channels, editorial planning, and campaign orchestration.
- Data-driven mindset with experience in measuring communication performance and ROI.
- Ability to set and respect timelines and budget within a project.
- Manage communications agencies relationships

Work Mode & Location
- Hybrid: 3 days in Paris (8ème) after the probation period
