Position Summary

Sonepar is looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect – Data, Business Integration & Transformation to help shape and drive the evolution of the Group’s enterprise data, integration, and business process architecture.

This role will be responsible for defining enterprise-wide integration and data architecture strategies, enabling business process transformation across the organization, and ensuring that Sonepar’s digital ecosystem supports scalable, connected, and data-driven operations.

The Enterprise Architect will work closely with Business stakeholders, Regional IT organizations, Enterprise Applications teams, Data & Analytics organizations, and strategic technology partners to support the modernization and harmonization of business capabilities across the Group.

This is a highly strategic global role requiring strong expertise in enterprise integration, data architecture, business process transformation, and cross-functional collaboration.

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Enterprise Data Architecture
  • Define and maintain the target enterprise data architecture aligned with Sonepar’s strategic priorities.
  • Establish enterprise data principles, governance models, and architectural standards.
  • Support the evolution of enterprise data platforms, analytics capabilities, master data management, and AI-enabled data services.
  • Promote scalable and reusable data models, data products, and data interoperability standards.
  • Ensure alignment between operational systems, analytical platforms, and business intelligence capabilities.
  • Partner with Data teams to improve data quality, consistency, governance, and accessibility across the organization.
  1. Business Integration Architecture
  • Define the enterprise integration strategy and target integration architecture.
  • Establish standards and best practices for APIs, event-driven architecture, middleware, messaging, and system interoperability.
  • Support the modernization and simplification of enterprise integration landscapes.
  • Ensure seamless integration across ERP, PIM, OMS, CRM, eCommerce, Supply Chain, Data Platforms, AI services, and third-party ecosystems.
  • Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to drive reusable and scalable integration patterns.
  • Contribute to the evolution of Sonepar’s enterprise integration capabilities and integration operating model.
  1. Business Transformation & Process Architecture
  • Support enterprise-wide business transformation initiatives and operating model evolution.
  • Partner with business and digital leaders to redesign and optimize cross-functional business processes.
  • Translate business capabilities and transformation priorities into target architecture roadmaps.
  • Ensure alignment between business process transformation and technology enablement.
  • Contribute to harmonization and standardization initiatives across countries and business units.
  • Support organizational change initiatives linked to digital transformation programs.
  1. Collaboration & Leadership
  • Collaborate closely with Business stakeholders, Enterprise Applications teams, Data organizations, and regional IT leaders.
  • Influence senior stakeholders and support strategic decision-making.
  • Work with Product Managers, Engineering teams, and external partners on transformation initiatives.
  • Mentor architects and contribute to the development of the enterprise architecture community.
  • Promote modern architecture practices, innovation, automation, and continuous improvement.

 

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Data Architecture, Integration Architecture, or Business Transformation roles.
  • Strong experience in large-scale digital transformation programs and complex enterprise environments.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise integration patterns, API strategies, middleware technologies, and event-driven architectures.
  • Strong experience with enterprise data architecture, data platforms, master data management, and analytics ecosystems.
  • Experience designing scalable and interoperable enterprise solutions across multiple business domains.
  • Strong understanding of business process architecture and transformation methodologies.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, SaaS ecosystems, and modern enterprise technologies.
  • Experience working in multinational and matrix organizations.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to bridge business and technology discussions effectively.
  • Fluent in English.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in B2B distribution, retail, industrial, manufacturing, or supply chain-intensive industries.
  • Familiarity with omnichannel commerce and customer experience ecosystems.
  • Experience with enterprise data platforms, integration platforms, and AI-enabled transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
  • Experience with technologies and platforms such as Azure, SAP, Informatica, MuleSoft, Kafka, Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or similar ecosystems.

Work Mode & Location

- Hybrid: 3 days in Paris (8ème) after the trial period
