How will you shape our tomorrow
As an IS Finance Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the transformation of the Finance Department by managing critical, cross-functional projects related to tools, processes, and data. Acting as a key interface between business and Transformation teams, you will ensure optimal alignment between functional requirements and technical solutions.
In the initial phase, you will contribute to the strategic replacement of SAP FC with a next-generation group-wide consolidation and reporting platform. Subsequently, you will be involved in further initiatives focused on the implementation or redesign of financial information systems.
Your missions include:
- Leading in parallel cross-functional projects related to financial systems and processes, supporting the Finance Department’s transformation from projects scoping to rollout
- Contributing to the definition of the strategic roadmap for Finance IT systems, ensuring alignment with Sonepar’s specific business challenges
- Coordinating effectively internal stakeholders (Consolidation, Controlling, Countries finance teams, IT) and external partners
- Driving continuous improvement of financial processes including Actual, Budget and Forecast reporting
- Collaborating with Transformation team to identify and implement automation opportunities
- Actively participate in project governance committees
This position offers a strategic opportunity to contribute to the reshaping of EPM landscape within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
You might also support EPM, GRC & Legal business analysts in their day-to-day activities.
The experience you bring
- Between 8 and 10 years of experience
- Foreign languages: proficiency in both written and spoken English and French is essential.
- You possess dual expertise in customization of EPM systems and reporting and consolidation processes.
- You have a proven track record on EPM implementation projects
- You possess a strong aptitude for organization and are results oriented
- You have excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- You demonstrate a strong sense of service, active listening, intellectual curiosity, autonomy, and a proactive approach.
- You can manage priorities and unexpected challenges with flexibility and composure.
Work Mode & Location
Hybrid: 3 days in Paris (8ème)
