The Role
Microsoft 365 (M365) is the Group’s common collaboration platform, serving all Operating Companies within an international and decentralized model. In a context of rapidly evolving ways of working (hybrid work, cross-entity collaboration, security, compliance, delegation, and multi-entity governance), the M365 Platform Owner is responsible for evolving, industrializing, and driving adoption of the platform to support new collaboration practices and address the challenges of a centralized platform.
Key Responsibilities
1) Vision, Strategy, Governance & Value
· Own the M365 vision and roadmap aligned with Group IT and business priorities.
· Drive governance, KPIs, executive alignment, and business cases while ensuring value creation, benefits realization, and measurable impact across productivity, compliance, and simplification.
2) Platform Operations & Technical Control
· Ensure reliable and secure day‑to‑day operations of M365, including ITSM, SLA, and 24x7 support when required.
· Define and control the target architecture, manage technical risks and debt, and maintain strong alignment with Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Identity, Network, and Data teams.
3) Delivery, Projects & Delegation
· Steer the M365 project and deployment portfolio end‑to‑end, ensuring quality, budget, timeline, and scope.
Coordinate Business and IT across OpCos and define delegation models and guardrails to enable local autonomy within a centralized platform.
4) Adoption, Community & Ecosystem Management
· Drive adoption and change management through communication, training, and gamification.
Animate an international Champions Community and manage the M365 ecosystem, including budget ownership and relationships with Microsoft and service partners.
The Experience You Bring
- M365 Platform Owner Expertise: Proven experience owning and scaling a Microsoft 365 platform in a complex, international environment, with deep understanding on Microsoft partnership execution as well as licensing model.
- Leadership: Proven experience leading technical or functional internal & external teams to align with business roadmaps and governance policies.
- Global Mindset: Ability to work effectively with decentralized teams dispersed across multiple international locations.
- Implementation Track Record: Experience with M365 Managed Services and Adoption implementations and managing global external service providers.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; fluent in English and French. Spanish is a plus
