Water/Wastewater Business Development Manager

Location: East Coast

Ability to travel throughout Southern Pennsylvania to Northern Georgia
 

Capital Electric has an opening for an experienced Industrial Water/Wastewater Business Development Manager.  This position is responsible to grow the electrical sales in the water/wastewater market. This position will focus on motor control, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs and power distribution products.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic business plans for growing water/wastewater market including lead generation and cold calling
  • Leveraging and influencing the local outside sales account managers
  • Establish yourself as a trusted advisor with the customer
  • Supporting industrial end user accounts, systems integrators, panel builders and OEM customers in the water/wastewater industry
  • Keeping up with new product development and relaying the information to the customer
  • Help the account manager develop new customer relationships
  • Generate sales quoting opportunities
  • Automation and Control growth including PLCs, drives, sensor, HMIs etc
  • Keeping up with required vendor training
  • Attend training as required by Capital Electric
  • Must be able to work within a cohesive team
  • Other duties as required

Requirements

  • Electrical experience and/or municipal water/wastewater experience preferred
  • Must have experience with PLCs, Drives, Sensors, etc.
  • Customer service background is a plus
  • Strong work ethic, strong follow through and organizational skills
  • Computer skills including Microsoft PowerPoint, Work and Excel
  • Ability to travel throughout southern Pennsylvania to northern Georgia
