What You’ll Do:

  • Purchases products and manages inventory levels of products for Codale to resell
  • Maintaining, and forecasting product inventory levels, researching new and replacement products, negotiating costs and discounts of products and any freight and service charges with suppliers, processing and managing to purchase and maintain inventory levels across the Codale network.
  • You will focus on commodity inventory only. 
  • Working with salesforce on commodity-related quotes, projects, and orders.
  • Tracking current market trends, changes, and costs.
  • Knowledge of current commodity market value, sell price, and strategy.
  • Knowledge of all Codale’s service adders and capabilities that are related to commodities and helping the salesforce to utilize these on bids, quotes, and orders System (eclipse) maintenance.
  • Commodity product file updates.
  • Cost and product file and maintenance
  • Tracking and analyzing commodity sales history. Tracking commodities wins and losses.
  • Understanding of the commodities market
  • Gathering and compiling current commodity cost
  • Commodity sale price knowledge
  • Working with vendors and purchasing on cost
  • Commodity quote support
  • Commodity inventory value
  • Sales associate support
  • SPA and Rebate support

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • Eterm (Eclipse or Solar)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook and OneDrive)
  • Microsoft Excel (intermediate skills preferably)
  • Electrical sales or sales (1+ years preferably)
  • Distribution warehouse
