As a TFS Sales Support Specialist, you will be responsible for driving sales and profitability for the Tools, Fastening and Safety categories by providing support to account managers, inside salesman, and customers within Codale’s Industrial, Commercial and Renewable Verticals.

 

Responsibilities:

  • A basic understanding of product and application knowledge for Tools, Fasteners and Safety products.
  • Support TFS outside sales efforts:
    • Interact with Codale Sales Associates, Branch, and District Managers
    • Develop relationships with Codale’s external customers.
  • Provide product price and availability, including monitoring branch inventory levels to support TFS sales and promotions.
  • Work with Branch Managers to support showroom processes.
  • Work with marketing to produce quarterly fliers and promotions, creatively support initiatives.
  • Engage and share best practices with TFS specialists across Sonepar network.
  • Occasional travel

 

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Tools, Fasteners and Safety products preferred, not required.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must have good analytical and computer skills including mastery of MS Office software
  • Working knowledge of Eclipse ERP preferred, but not required (Training offered)
  • Ability to communicate and present effectively with/to counter, inside and outside salespeople, vendors, purchasing, marketing in a professional manner
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Six months or more related experience and/or training is preferred.
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills required
  • Ability to grow and maintain relationships with any individual, irrespective of the background and type of personality
  • Possession of good sense of humor
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong creativity and critical thinking abilities
  • Ability to work with recent technological applications relating to daily tasks
  • Possess reliable problem-solving ability
