What you will do:

• Responsible for testing VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives) before delivery to our customers
• Move and handle VFDs ranging in size from a small, wall mount 20 lb. units to large, free-standing cabinets that weigh 1500-2500 lbs, safely
• Record keeping of activities is kept in a log book, including customer P/N, Manufacturer’s S/N, unit S/N, etc
• Verify the functionality of motors by sending speed signals after the wires are connected
• Ability to take on additional responsibilities and duties

What you will bring:

• Electrical aptitude, including safety awareness around exposed live circuits
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics to connect Power and Signal wiring
• Mechanical aptitude
• Attention to detail
• Good organization skills
• Windows navigation skills
• Previous VFD and/or PLC experience is a plus, but not required

Requirements and Work Environment:

• Good Attendance/Safety/Work Record
• Ability to perform and comprehend verbal and written communication in English
• Warehouse environment

Location: This role is based in San Diego, CA

Work hours: 5:00am – 1:30pm

Salary Range:

• This is a non-exempt position and pays between $18.94 – $25.26 per hour. This salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, within California. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.
