Scope of the Position
Branch Administrator supports daily branch operations by managing clerical duties, coordinating office workflows and ensuring compliance with company procedures. The role provides customer service support, assists Account Managers with order processing and handles specialized tasks such as quoting and expediting purchase orders. It also involves inventory monitoring and maintaining accurate back‑end documentation.
Major Responsibilities
- Providing clerical support to Management
- Operational Support: Managing office tasks, ensuring compliance and supporting the Branch Manager
- Handling incoming and outgoing calls in a professional manner
- Responsible for handling customer service requests
- Assist and support Account managers with customer orders and requests
- Specialized Tasks: Sourcing/Entering Quotes/Expediting PO’s
- Monitoring inventory/MINS’s in system
- Ensure effective communication via email and/or phone with internal departments and external
- Responsible for quoting customers and dealing with product related problems that customers may have such as defective products and the return of product.
- Responsible for Spec products for customers
- Supporting warehouse duties, with additional responsibilities assigned at the Branch Manager’s discretion.
- Assist with any special inquiries from other departments (e.g. Counter/Receiving)
- Accountable for the input and integrity of appropriate back-end paperwork.
- Maintain a safe working environment and follow all company protocols for safety and is required to report any unsafe working conditions to a manager
Skills and Qualifications
- Completion of high-school or equivalent
- Previous administrative or customer service experiences is preferred.
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal
- Ability to plan, organize and prioritize effectively with a sense of urgency.
- Can engage appropriately and work as part of a team
- Capacity to work independently and seek out assistance as required.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
- The successful candidate will be required to complete a satisfactory security background check
- Strong command of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, etc.)
- Proficiency with office equipment, strong communication, organization and computer skills.
